Job description
As a Project Logistics Operations Specialist, your primary focus is to plan and organize tailored logistics solutions for projects and special cargo. For this position, the focus is on handling the transportation of military-classified goods, primarily within air export, although you will also work with other types of cargo and modes of transport.
You are responsible for your own customers, projects, and shipments, but you work closely with your colleagues in Sweden, GEODIS global network, as well as customers, suppliers, and partners worldwide.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop relationships and business with existing customers and suppliers.
- Manage shipments and projects from inquiry all the way to invoicing.
- Be responsible for customer contact and follow-up via phone and visits.
- Respond to supplier and customer inquiries.
- Contribute to the team's development and improvement of work methods, routines, and processes.
Applicant's profile
We are looking for someone who:
- Has several years experience in project logistics and special transports, with focus on air export and military and defense segment.
- Experience with other modes of transport is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the CW1 production system.
- Is fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
This role is suited for someone who is solution-oriented and independently drives their work forward. You have the ability to plan and organize projects and special transports from start to finish, act proactively, and maintain a high level of structure. Excellent communication and collaboration with both external and internal partners is a given for you, always with a strong focus on service and quality.
