Job description
As a Key Account Manager/After Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing the existing customer portfolio by identifying new business opportunities and driving development projects together with your customers, primarily within sea and air freight. You will work closely with colleagues in the sales team, the site manager, freight forwarders, and the product team.
Your main tasks will include:
- Scheduling, planning, and conducting meetings with primarily existing customers.
- Ensuring that existing customers with additional sales potential have a proactive development plan.
- Achieving sales budget and set sales goals.
- Driving projects together with your customers to optimize their logistics solutions.
- Representing GEODIS and our services in a professional and positive manner.
Applicant's profile
This role is suitable for you who enjoy working with sales, business, and customer relationships. We are looking for someone with industry experience and a good understanding of the logistics world, primarily within sea and air freight. We believe you have experience from a similar sales role or an operational role with some form of customer responsibility. It is advantageous if you have experience in driving projects and have post-secondary education in a relevant field. As we are an international company with customers and colleagues around the world, you need to be fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written. Driver's license is required.
We are looking for someone who is good at building and developing strong customer relationships and networks at different levels. You have a strategic mindset to achieve your own and the team's goals and take responsibility for independently developing your customers. For you, collaboration, good structure, and a high level of service are important keys to success.
