Freight Forwarder Air Export - 1 year temporary contract M/F

Job description

As an air freight forwarder, you are responsible for your own customer assignments from booking to final invoicing. You will work air freight, courier bookings, and handling price inquiries. You will have regular contact with GEODIS network and colleagues around the world and close collaboration with account managers, suppliers, and customer representatives.

Your job responsibilities include:
- Planning and booking transport according to customer call-offs
- Delivery monitoring/deviation reporting
- Issuing transport documents
- Invoicing and cost control
- Actively working with customer care and providing our customers with the best service experience
- Contributing to the team's development and improvement of working methods, routines, and processes

Applicant's profile

- Fluent in Swedish and English, in speech and writing.
- Experience from working with air freight forwarding, primarily in exports.
- Good knowledge about the Swedish freight forwarding industry and market.
- Post-secondary education in logistics or freight forwarding is a merit.
- It is a plus if you have experience in using CargoWise1.
