Data Management Lead H/F

Description de la mission

Assist and drive of overall Data Management streams within GEODIS Enterprise Architecture Department.
Data Management practice encompass all the aspects of data valorization in the company:
• Data instrumentation, curation & quality control
• Data enhancement & enrichment
• Data distribution & utilization
• Data governance

Main activities:
1. Data Management stream
• Support Data Management officer in establishing and updating data management & governance strategy, policies and procedures based on a federated approach under Data Management Officer responsibility.
• Contribute to define data management & governance implementation roadmap within the group.
• Support data management implementation for all Data stakeholders: Data Owners, IT Product or Application Owners, Data Engineers and Data Analysts, Enterprise Architecture.
• Help to animate & coordinate this Data community to promote and deploy a federated data management practice and other innovative data management principles (Open Data, Cross Domain Sharing, Cross Domain Data models, Data Contracts, Data Discovery).
• Contribute to define, document and manage Data Domains & Data Products
• Provide support to the Data Community actors to ensure efficient data documentation: metadata management, data cataloging, data contracts, etc.
• Help data product team defining SLO et SLI in terms of data availability and quality.
• Manage and monitor Data Management tooling and technical processes: Data Catalog, Data Quality Management, Data Pipeline quality checks, Metadata tools and pipelines.

2. Data Quality stream
• Support Data Management Officer in the definition of global data quality principles and policies.
• Help define data quality implementation roadmap and strategy.
• In collaboration with the Datalayer Management team, contributes define and build standard data quality tooling: unit tests, end to end monitoring, post processing quality control and dashboarding.
• In collaboration with the Data Engineering teams (Corp, Lob & Region) and Data owners, take part in set up data quality metrics, check and dashboards and monitors data quality through the standard tooling.
• Support Data Management Officer as a referent to provides support and expertise to guarantee Data quality, at Global and Data Domain levels.
• Facilitates the integration of data quality norms & standards (alert thresholds, target DQ objectives etc.)
• Facilitates the implementation of data quality processes (issues alerting, hot fixes, anomalies investigation, remediation plan definitions, escalation processes) and ensures that they are implemented.
• Supports Data Owners, Business Excellence department such as IT Product and Application owners in setting quality objectives and defining management processes adapted to the level of criticality of the data for their respective Data Domains

Profil du candidat

• Passionate about data, you can act as an interface between Business and D&T teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Analytical skills to identify new ways of working or opportunities.
• Strong coordination and communication skills and ability to animate workshops.
• Able to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
• 5 years of experience in data management with an actual experience in the implementation of data quality monitoring
• Excellent written and spoken language skills in English and French
• Ability to work in multicultural, multi-lingual, cross-functions environment.
