Job description

This role can be based out of any GEODIS office location in North America (Canada, Mexico, United States).

The Manager of AMS SCO Engineering team leads a high-performing team of engineers responsible for developing end-to-end supply chain network models and solutions. This role bridges technical engineering design with commercial strategy, ensuring all proposed solutions are highly efficient, financially viable, and aligned with client business objectives. The ideal candidate possesses deep supply chain knowledge, technical engineering skills, and a proven track record of supporting pre-sales activities to win new business.

• Responsibilities

Cross-Border Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a remote, bilingual engineering team across the U.S. and Mexico.
• Coordinate workflows across time zones, balancing workloads for pre-sales and continuous improvement projects.
• Establish KPIs to track engineering output, model accuracy, and response timelines.
Financial Engineering & Cost Analysis
• Validate financial business cases for supply chain transformations, focusing on OpEx reduction.
• Standardize pricing templates used by engineers to evaluate vendor RFQs and 3PL capabilities.

Commercial & Pre-Sales Support

• Serve as technical engineering lead during 4PL RFP responses.
• Present network designs and ROI justifications directly to executive-level client stakeholders.
• Translate complex data models into concise, executive-ready proposal documents.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Drive network optimization projects for active 4PL clients using control tower data.
• Evaluate technologies like advanced TMS and visibility tools to integrate into designs.
• Standardize design workflows, software templates, and engineering best practices.

Applicant's profile

Skills
Experience in Activity Based Costing tools for resource planning
Experienced with Supply Chain Analytics
Familiar with Lean & Reengineering Methodologies (VSM, 5D, 5S…)
Familiar with Supply Chain IT tools (TMS, WMS, Order Management, Workflow Management)
Project Management Skills

Education BSc / MSc (Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering)
