Job description
As a Customs Specialist, you are the organization's customs expert, responsible for staying updated on news and developments within the customs field, interpreting and implementing new regulations, and ensuring our organization remains at the forefront in customs matters. You assist both internal and external customers with qualified investigations and analyses, and work closely with our sales organization. You play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, creating added value, and establishing favorable conditions for new and increased sales of our customs services.
Your main responsibilities:
- Provide expertise and support within the customs field for internal and external customers.
- Engage in dialogue with authorities and organizations regarding customs matters.
- Together with the Customs Manager, manage and develop the company's customer portfolio within customs.
- Visit customers alongside our sales representatives.
- Conduct market analyses of customer needs and demands within customs, and develop new solutions and improvements to meet identified needs.
- Inform and educate both internally and externally on customs issues related to news and updates.
Applicant's profile
This role is ideal for someone who has a genuine interest in customs and extensive experience in the customs field. You enjoy sharing your knowledge, finding solutions, and helping others understand complex customs issues and processes.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent knowledge in customs declaration work, customs regulations, and processes both locally in Sweden and globally.
- Experience in sales and/or customer responsibility is advantageous.
- Understands logistics and freight forwarding, and the role and impact of customs services in the supply chain.
- Has strong proficiency in both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form.
- Is skilled at collaborating and building strong customer relationships.
- Is organized and takes responsibility for driving your work forward.
- Is business-driven and committed to delivering excellent service and quality to customers.
