Job description

• Financial Management & Reporting
o Prepare, monitor, and control budgets and forecasts for the airfreight product.
o Analyze monthly results, variances, and KPIs; provide recommendations to improve performance.
o Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial statements and performance indicators.
o Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
o Lead the preparation of business reviews and presentations for management.
o Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management, shareholders, and regulatory authorities for the entity holding airfreight projects.

o Manage cash flow, bank relationships, and financing activities.

• Internal Controls & Compliance
o Ensure compliance with GEODIS policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
o Maintain and improve internal controls related to financial processes.
• Transformation projects
o Contribute and assist in the transformation projects : EPM implementation for Financial Controlling and SAP implementation for Accounting
• Business Partnering
o Act as a key contact for finance topics related to airfreight.
o Support commercial and operational teams with financial insights and analysis.
o Participate in cross-functional projects to optimize airfreight operations.
• Team Management
o Supervise, mentor, and develop SCO financial analyst.
o Support professional development and ensure high performance within the team.

Applicant's profile

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in financial controlling, preferably in logistics, transportation, or airfreight.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial systems and MS Excel; experience with SAP or similar ERP is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership or supervisory experience (managing at least one team member).
• Ability to work in an international and cross-functional environment.
• Fluent in English; other languages are an asset.
