Job description
The main objective of the Global Implementation Specialist is to:
• Complete all directed training for alignment to implementation best practice.
• Meet with Global stakeholders to understand the process and function of each department that supports implementation efforts.
• Shadow the back of house task with direction from the Global Implementation Manager.
Ø Perform the internal setup task required for operations to deliver the customer's expectations.
Ø Understand the operations standard best practice for documenting the SOP & Work instructions for accurate training of operations.
Ø During hyper-care learn the process of assessing the quality of performance.
• Shadow the front of house task with direction from the Global Implementation Manager.
Ø Engage all functional departments on defined global implementation project, define and assign internal deliverables, with the support of Regional and/or Country implementation managers, and ensure completion of defined tasks.
Ø Facilitate engagement with customers' project leader, lead both internal and external meetings/conferences, coordinate multi activities, in a view of state of the art and successful on boarding.
Ø Learn to keep the momentum during the implementation phase, communicate on progress, and follow up on continuous improvement plan over the contract period.
Ø Ensure customer satisfaction at all stages of the implementation process, share knowledge of further customer requirements.
Applicant's profile
The ideal candidate for this role should have:
• Knowledge of internal freight forwarding operations, rules and processes (2 year min working for GEODIS);
• Bachealor´s Degree Completed
• Project Management Certification
• Good Performance (rating 3 and above in the last 2 performance appraisals)
• No history of Performance Improvement Plans
• Able to commit to a 12 month assignment
• Knowledge of project management principles;
• Strong planning and organizational skills, excellent time management;
• Attention to detail and impeccable follow through;
• Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills in a functional role;
• Ability to work regionally and globally and with a variety of cultures & key project stakeholders;
• Excellent negotiation & presentation technique;
• Ability to adapt to change quickly
