Job description
"* Installs, maintains, and updates database software.
* Database user management, space management, patching, administration, and troubleshoots database issues.
* Schedules, performs, and monitors database day-to-day activity, etc.
* Performs database administration tasks to maintain organization wide applications.
* Resolves issues in database and processes.
* Refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
* Contributes to process improvement and enhancement for organization wide projects.
* Projects and activities are low complexity.
* The IT Associate Database Administrator works under general supervision.
* Good communication, an aptitude to learn, and a desire to grow.
* Basic knowledge of data analysis tools (for example; SQL, Excel) and/or programming fundamentals (any language)
* Understanding of software development lifecycle and principles.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an interest in applications, technology, and/or business processes.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills. (Able to effectively communicate in English is required).
* Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment."
