Job description

• Establish and implement HR strategies that have mid to long term (3-5 years) impact on business results in alignment with the Group & Region organisation objectives,
• Implement and monitor HR policies (Compensation and Benefits, Talent Management & Development, HRIS, Labor/Union Relations, Payroll & People Administration) designed by the Group & Region to address sub-regional business strategy and legal specificities,
• Harmonize People processes and HR strategy to enable efficient HR decisions making process,
• Ensure that the organization complies with labor laws and regulations,
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations to be constantly informed of changes that could have an impact on GEODIS HR policies and projects,
• Foster positive employee relations by resolving conflicts and addressing concerns,
• Ensure that workplace policies and procedures are followed and that employees are treated fairly and equitably,
• Manage relations with employee representatives and/or trade unions, lead collective bargaining
• Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding, ensuring consistent practices at national and sub-regional level,
• Collaborate with the management to align talent development initiatives with business goals,
• Manage the career development for Talents identified within their scope and ensure the robustness of the successor's pools for Executives positions within the sub-region,
• Act as an advisor to management on all HR-related topics and projects, providing expertise from your own or your team's resources (employment laws, legal issues, any work contract situation, employee welfare, etc.),
• Develop, coordinate, and implement changes and improvements in HR and other management systems for the function,
• Prepare and support the teams to successfully adopt change in order to drive organizational success and outcomes,
• Support organizational structure changes & integration related to mergers & acquisitions or organic growth,
• Contribute to building a strong employer brand.

Applicant's profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant discipline,
• Minimum 10 years of experience within the above mentioned tasks,
• Expert in communication and stakeholder management,
• Fluent in English.
• Able to travel,
• Human at the heart.
