Full time permanent position, located at our head office in central Gothenburg, Sweden.

Job description

As a Project Logistics Operations Specialist, you are responsible for your own customers, projects and shipments. You have a close collaboration with your colleagues in Sweden, GEODIS' global network as well as customers, suppliers and partners all over the world.

Your main duties will include: 
- Coordinate shipments of all types, including heavy and oversized cargo.
- Be the contact person for customers, partners and other GEODIS offices for project-related questions.
- Responsible for follow-up with customers and suppliers via email, telephone and to some extent visits.
- Coordinate and negotiate with subcontractors and produce competitive prices.
- Contribute to the team's development and improvement of working methods, routines and processes. 
- Develop relationships and business with existing and new customers and suppliers.
- Develop smart solutions and create offers to existing and new customers.
- Identify and minimize risks by negotiating contracts and terms with customers and suppliers.
- Work on RFQs together with our sales department and PL team.
- Market analysis and identify potential customers' needs and requirements.

Applicant's profile

- Fluent in Swedish and English, in speech and writing.
- At least 5 years of experience in the forwarding industry, preferably in project logistics.
- Experience in sea, air and road freight, including break bulk and out of gauge, is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of the Swedish logistics industry and market.
- Experience in using CargoWise is a merit, as well as post-secondary degree in logistics or freight forwarding.
