SVP Vertical Market Retail H/F
Description de la mission
Vertical Market Directors oversee the deployment of the global business plan for Strategic customers (Tier 1 and Tier 1 Prospects) within an assigned vertical market. They manage a team of Global Account managers and Global Sales Directors.
They develop GEODIS value proposal on the entire portfolio of services and on all territories leveraging their knowledge on their market. The Vertical Market Director, as an expert, also provides insights and direction for the specified vertical market.
*Deployment of the vertical market strategy on a selected strategic customer
In liaison with Regions and LoB and under the management of the Sales & Marketing EVP, Vertical market Directors select Tier 1 customers and Tier 1 prospects within focused vertical market (Retail)
Provide vertical market and customer insights for the budget
Coordinate and animate the strategic account plan with their team on assigned portfolio
Deploy and develop the vertical market value proposal
Grow profitably business within their portfolio of Accounts
Share qualified sales leads with the network following the Sales Lead Process
*Reporting and analysis
Follow with GAM and GSD a management routine pipeline, sales velocity, strategic approach on tender and team coaching
Ensure that strategic account plans with customers are managed and include the evaluation of customer satisfaction and the gathering of market data
Maintain with their team a monthly summary view of the pace of activities, quality and key milestones with each customer “GAM dashboard”
Review and follow-up action plan to secure on their scope the targeted budget, profitability and overdue situation
Manage and negotiate key contractual clauses to limit GEODIS exposure on risk (financial, operational, rate exchanges…)
*Guidance and advice
Be recognized both internally and externally for vertical markets expertise
Highlight subject matter expert/s on the specified market and support and/or provide training on successful selling techniques in this field
Drive customer Net promoter score and effort score
*Team management
Embrace GEODIS leadership principles with team and the network
Manage, lead and develop a team of Global accounts, ensure that all team members are engaged in consistent processes to assess market performance
Set individual goals and objectives to achieve operational results, conduct people reviews, assess performance
Build and maintain the positive and influencing relationship with the management
Encourage, challenge, motivate and develop the team in a positive working environment
Ensure information is disseminated appropriately
Remain up to date in the field
