The Logistics Operations Simulation Specialist is responsible for understanding, designing and creating in a virtual world all activities related to a warehouse operation. The LO Simulation Specialist is also responsible for the maintenance, support and upgrades to current simulations to find new efficiencies in the operation. The LO Simulation Specialist will support the Solutions & Operations department in providing data driven insights to the team during the implementation process. This position will be reporting directly to the Business Intelligence Manager.
Perfil del puesto
"1. Experience in programming languajes like Basic, VBA, Python, C++.
2. Proficiency writing queries in SQL.
3. Experience in developing and applying algorithms in Python that drive financial/operational improvements.
4. Use of Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Seaborn and Scikit-Learn.
5. Practical knowledge of relational database and data models.
6. Experience in simulations softwares is a big plus.
7. Experience in a 3PL or warehousing is a plus."
