Job description


The position holder is responsible for providing support in optimization of regional inventory, material demand planning, inventory controls, reporting, level setting and analysis.
• Responsible for running a series of inventory reports on weekly or monthly basis and perform detailed analysis of inventory performance
• Responsible for ensuring proper inventory levels in the most cost-effective manner in order to meet operations requirements
• Accountable for developing accurate, consistent inventory reporting approach
• Accountable for identifying slow moving inventory items and provide input for disposal analysis
• Responsible for performing inventory adjustments
• Accountable for giving inputs and reviewing items, describing information in current inventory systems
• Responsible for maintaining close liaison with the Procurement Services team and Material Coordination team to prioritize material demand
• Accountable for working with other MM teams to ensure support to operations
• Reporting any deviations following the agreed process
• Support internal/external parties/departments/institutions with relevant documentation for related audits and business control upon request
• Complying with and implementing within his/her scope of work all company's and clients' standards, policies and procedures
• Training of team members within scope of work
• Taking actions in order to provide added value and optimize supply chain processes within group, company and client in order to achieve satisfactory service
