Job description
As a sea freight forwarder, you have overall control of the customer's goods flow and are responsible for your own assignments from booking to invoicing. You work independently with transport solutions worldwide and have daily contact with customer representatives, suppliers, and colleagues within the GEODIS network.
Your job responsibilities include:
- Planning and booking transport according to customer call-offs.
- Delivery monitoring/deviation reporting.
- Issuing transport documents.
- Invoicing and cost control.
- Actively working with customer care and providing our customers with the best service experience.
- Contributing to the team's development and improvement of working methods, routines, and processes.
Applicant's profile
- Fluent in Swedish and English, in speech and writing.
- Experience from working with sea freight forwarding, primarily in exports.
- Good knowledge about the Swedish freight forwarding industry and market.
- Post-secondary education in logistics or freight forwarding is a merit.
- It is a plus if you have experience in using CargoWise1.
