Job description

Reporting to the Contract Logistics director in Romania, your role is to develop detailed studies and to build technical/commercial offers for the clients. The position is based in Bucharest and requires occasional countryside travel. This V.I.E contract is available to young professionals aged 18 to 28 who are citizens of the European Economic Area (EEA).

Missions:
- Assess and qualify incoming projects to ensure alignment with our strategic goals
- Gain a deep understanding of customer needs and expectations to tailor our solutions effectively
- Develop comprehensive kick-off plans to set projects in motion smoothly (risk and challenges, clarification points, actions tracker)
- Conduct studies using the LEA tool (GEODIS' own modeling tool) or internally developed tools for small and medium projects
- Create and refine offers and commercial presentations, and present them for hierarchical validation
- Work closely with the local contract logistics team to address all customer queries across various domains (production, quality, finance, legal, IT, purchasing, etc.)
- Ensure accurate entries in GEODIS commercial reporting tools, maintaining consistency in technical, financial, and operational responses
- Organize re-engineering efforts once a customer is onboarded to meet management's objectives

Applicant's profile

- Degree in Logistics or equal experience
- Knowledge of commercial negotiation techniques
- Experience in managing customer and supplier relationships
- Organizational skills and adaptability
- Sense of contact and taste for teamwork
- Challenging spirit, search for responsibility
- Advanced English, knowledge of the Romanian language would be a plus
- Experience with AutoCAD is a plus
