Location: Remote/On-site in India, reporting to our France-based headquarters
About the Role: We are a France-based company seeking a highly skilled Lead Developer to join and lead our new development team in India. This role will involve not only managing technical projects but also helping to build a talented team of developers from the ground up. As the first hire in India, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our team and the future of our web application product.
Responsibilities:
• Technical Leadership & Code Quality: Guarantee the robustness and high quality of code, adhering to clean architecture principles. Oversee and maintain best practices in coding standards, testing, and technical reviews.
• Team Management & Recruitment: Act as a local team manager, collaborating with HQ to recruit and onboard 4-6 additional developers in India. Mentor, support, and motivate team members to drive high performance.

Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in web application development, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
• Tech Stack: See Technical skills section
Tools : Azure Devops, GitLab, Jira.
• Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated experience in managing teams, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with remote teams.
• Problem-Solving & Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to make strategic decisions to support product evolution.
• Languages : Fluent english
