As a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk, you organize national and international shipments via air. You advise customers on the most suitable mode of transport and the best route, negotiate, plan, and coordinate shipments.
At GEODIS, Freight Forwarding is one of the five main business lines, alongside Road Transport, Supply Chain Optimization, Contract Logistics, and Distribution &amp; Express. The Freight Forwarding segment includes air freight, sea freight, multimodal solutions, project logistics, cargo insurance, and customs clearance.
At the Frankfurt location, you will learn everything about air freight from A to Z. The apprenticeship lasts two to three years, depending on your educational background.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Credit Management	Ensure credit checks for new customers prior to submitting quotations , in line with GSP , credit management policy and in cooperation with the finance department. Support Finance Dept. in case of need ( non-payment of invoices , non-compliance with payment terms ) Document actions taken in CRM Safeguard the Order to Cash Cycle as per defined intercompany rules and processes
Business Solutions	Identify and initiate new opportunities to meet customer/prospect needs , in cooperation with Business Solutions departments , IT and OPS , in order to be able to meet customers current and future needs Identify gaps and opportunities in Geodis FF services and advise NSM and Business Solutions department Develop Value Proposals in cooperation with Business Solutions department Identify and initiate new e-solutions opportunities to E-solutions management Involve e-solutions and business solutions competence centres to ensure suitable and competitive value propositions for customers.
External Marketing	Identify and act on marketing &amp; sales campaign opportunities.
