Dimensions and Quantities:
Working as part of the Operations team based in London office, the Apprentice Forwarder will be responsible for the delivery of an effective and efficient service to the business and to the Operations Department.

•	Reporting to the Branch Manager - Freight Forwarding 
•	Full time, 5 days 

Key Activities / Accountabilities:
•	Provide admin and operational support to Operational Department, allowing Supervisor to pass operational work back to branch. 
•	Work closely with internal and external customers
•	Use of Next Gen/MS office as requested
•	Invoicing and job costing 
•	Customs Entries
•	Assist in all aspects of the operation where/when required
•	Focus on customer service 
•	Regular customer communication / meetings and business reviews
•	Ensure all reports including internal and customer specific are completed within the deadline
•	Resolve queries from customers and suppliers
•	Operate within companies QA system
•	Any other tasks as directed by their Supervisor or line manager
•	Admin as required 
•	Ensure Best Practice models are adopted throughout the department. 
•	All other tasks as requested by management&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
•	Fully PC literate
•	Thorough understanding of customer needs
•	Knowledge of the freight forwarding industry would be preferred.
•	A knowledge and understanding of financials and impact on business
•	A Good knowledge of IT systems and processes used in the freight industry

Votre futur environnement : Intégrez notre équipe affrètement à Bourges, composée de 4 personnes motivées et solidaires (vous compris(e)). Des déplacements ponctuels sur ces deux derniers sites sont à prévoir pour favoriser la proximité et la coordination .

Vos missions :
•	Accompagner et conseiller nos clients dans la recherche de solutions de transport adaptées à leurs besoins, en leur garantissant le meilleur rapport qualité/prix et le respect des délais.
•	Sélectionner, négocier et piloter les relations avec nos sous-traitants : négociation des tarifs, transmission des consignes, suivi de la qualité de service.
•	Organiser et coordonner les opérations d'enlèvement, d'acheminement et de distribution, tout en anticipant et résolvant les éventuels imprévus.
•	Assurer le suivi complet des dossiers : analyse de la faisabilité, élaboration des offres, gestion des aléas et communication proactive avec le client.

Qui êtes-vous ? 

• Formation Bac à Bac+2 ;

Votre environnement de travail :

- Management d'un périmètre d'environ 100 collaborateurs répartis entre 50 conducteurs (CDI, sous-traitants/intérimaires) et 50 agents de quai (CDI, intérimaires selon l'activité), parmi lesquelles 3 personnes en management direct.
- Gestion d'une plateforme transport où sont réalisées chaque jour 40 tournées quotidiennes et environ 26 navettes de nuit, dont 7 tractions de nuit au départ de l'agence.


Vos missions principales :

- Garantir la sécurité des personnes et des biens sur l'ensemble des sites sous votre responsabilité.
- Optimiser en permanence les moyens humains et matériels, en recherchant la meilleure productivité et la maîtrise des coûts.
- Être le garant de l'organisation, en proposant des adaptations efficaces notamment en cas d'absence prolongée d'un membre clé de votre équipe managériale.
- Restructurer et redynamiser l'organisation opérationnelle, en renforçant la chaîne managériale et en accompagnant la montée en compétence des managers de proximité

Vos missions :

Vous connaissez la législation du transport et vous êtes à l'aise avec les outils du pack Office. The Account Manager is responsible for Contract Compliance, where applicable, Customer Service and Operations and development of nominated accounts. This will involve an intensely close working relationship with the UK branch network. The responsibility may include the Management of dedicated customer teams or departments. The role also requires maximum support and effective collaboration with the Sales team within the Customer Management set-up.

 Objective / Purpose of the Department
To be responsible for the external and internal development of the nominated customers in accordance with the strategic and tactical plan established by the Account Management Team, including quality and efficiency improvements linked to specific Customer/Account Plans.
To provide the customer service and operational organizations with daily support within the GEODIS Freight Forwarding organization and network in terms of execution of agreed plans and customer specified demands.
To have the overall responsibility for the continued growth of the nominated accounts / business volume and to maintain a satisfied customer (to include their nominated stakeholders).

Objective / Purpose of the Job 

To build and maintain a global relationship with nominated customers, locally, regionally and globally. 

To ensure productive and efficient sales and development activities around the accounts. The emphasis is placed on growth and profitability in accordance with the policies and guidelines laid out in the Account Management process and as decided by the Sales and Account Senior Management team of GEODIS FF UK. 
Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the Account Manager to ensure that the relationship is deepening both in complexity, e.g. through increased EDI connectivity etc., and business volume whenever possible.
To co-ordinate and harmonize activities between the customer teams globally, including but not limited to operational processes, IT tools, statistical &amp; financial reporting and high-level customer service excellence.

Key Activities / Accountabilities 

An Account Manager will manage and develop the existing business and relationship, including incremental business opportunities within nominated accounts. 

•	Responsible for effective working practices with the customer.
•	Oversee and manage SLA (Service Level Agreements) between client and GEODIS Freight Forwarding. 
•	Responsible for Monthly KPI reports 
•	Execution of strategic plans to develop and maintain long-term partnership with the customer and their nominated stakeholders.
•	Working with supply chain management teams where applicable.
•	Control over customer interactions in the form of volumes, revenues, and also profitability. All of these are measured on a monthly basis. 
•	Act as the customer's ambassador internally at GEODIS Freight Forwarding. 
•	Sell complete solutions and concepts in collaboration with internal colleagues and Management&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Essential Education and/ or Training 
•	University degree or equivalent
•	Experience in commercial and customer service activities with a proven success record
•	Well experienced in the freight forwarding and logistics industry
•	Excellent communication and language skills (English)
Preferred Experience and Knowledge 

This individual should have a minimum of 5 years senior level customer service/relationship management experience, as well as be familiar with the principles and practise of freight and supply chain management, ideally to include an element of sales experience.

Working knowledge of the international transportation and logistics industry is vital. Familiarity with the financial aspects of the relevant local economy as well as international market conditions and trends, and international business issues, including currency factors and cultural differences.

The Objectives of the FF Finance IT Department are:

•	Design, validate, and maintain Business Intelligence (BI) solutions within the Finance stream to support business insights and decision-making.

•	Validate new system enhancements, assess associated risks, and ensure proper implementation within CW1, focusing on Finance system configuration and processes.

•	Monitor and maintain the PS System, including reconciliation processes, system developments, enhancements, and regression testing.

Vos missions : 

Management : 
-	Définir les objectifs du service en partenariat avec le Directeur de l'agence et la Région, piloter leur bonne réalisation ;
-	Animer, mobiliser et motiver l'équipe au quotidien ;
-	S'assurer du développement des compétences de l'équipe ; 
-	S'assurer du développement de la polyvalence et de la continuité de l'activité au travers notamment de la gestion des plannings ; 
-	Fournir un appui opérationnel aux équipes en cas de pics d'activité ou de besoin organisationnel ;

Relation avec les sous-traitants et le réseau :
-	Valider les choix de sous-traitants et négocier les tarifs d'achat ;
-	Collaborer avec le réseau pour développer de nouvelles solutions dans une démarche d'amélioration continue ;

Pilotage et reporting : 
-	Être garant du bon renseignement des données Overseas dans les logiciels d'exploitation ; 
-	Analyser les tableaux de bord de votre activité, établir des plans d'actions destinés à améliorer les résultats de votre activité ;
-	Assurer un reporting régulier auprès de votre management ;

Budget et Commerce : 
-	Participer à l'élaboration du budget annuel (chiffre d'affaires et marge brute) de votre activité ; 
-	Apporter le support technique nécessaire à l'action du commerce et contribuer au développement commercial de votre activité notamment en accompagnant de manière ponctuelle les commerciaux terrain ;
-	Assurer la réponse technique et tarifaire aux demandes clients.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
