Are you looking for a new challenge in the dynamic world of Freight Forwarding? We are looking for a motivated Global Pricing Manager, Airfreight at the Global Airfreight head office at Schiphol, the Netherlands.

Purpose of the Job

As Airfreight Pricing Manager, you will be instrumental in executing and managing our airfreight pricing strategy. Your primary responsibilities will include handling and reviewing RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and Minimum Selling rates through close collaboration with airfreight product managers at regional and local levels. In this role, you will also work in partnership with global and regional tender teams to ensure the successful retention of key global customers and the onboarding of new business.
Additionally, you will ensure that our pricing strategies are accurately reflected in our internal pricing tool, and you will support improvements and automation of this tool. Your goal is to achieve data accuracy and drive profitable growth. Your contribution will be essential in promoting continuous improvements in the tool's functionalities and usage.

 In this role you will report to the Global Pricing Director Airfreight.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The ideal candidate:

•	Has 3-5 years of professional experience in Pricing and/or Tender Management in the global freight forwarding/airfreight industry
•	Operational experience in Airfreight is preferrable
•	Experience in handling and pricing Pharma shipments is a big plus
•	Possesses excellent skills in Excel and has an analytical mindset
•	Has good business acumen and intercultural skills
•	Is a good communicator and fluent in Business English
•	Has the ability to influence internal stakeholders 
•	Can work under pressure and tight deadlines&lt;br /&gt;

•	Minimum of 1 year experience in a busy freight forwarding role. 
•	Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
•	Excellent English language communication &amp; interpersonal skills are required.
•	Good proficiency with Microsoft applications (Office 365 Suite) is required, and the candidate must be eager to learn other software used in the business. 
•	Must be a team player, while also having the ability to use their own initiative in their job as the varied tasks of this role will demand. 
•	Excellent organisational and time management skills are essential. 
•	Some flexibility of working hours may be required due to the time sensitive nature of the industry and our clients, especially on Friday evenings for export planning. 
•	Some proficiency in German, Spanish, French or Dutch would be an advantage. 





Education

•	Irish Leaving certificate or international equivalent is the minimum requirement.

•	A third level qualification, especially in a relevant area, would be an advantage but not an essential requirement.

The Freight Forwarder is responsible for the operational and administrative execution of import and export services for our freight forwarding customers. •	Follows through on customer inquiries, requests and complaints;
