As a Project Logistics Operations Specialist, your primary focus is to plan and organize tailored logistics solutions for projects and special cargo. For this position, the focus is on handling the transportation of military-classified goods, primarily within air export, although you will also work with other types of cargo and modes of transport.

You are responsible for your own customers, projects, and shipments, but you work closely with your colleagues in Sweden, GEODIS global network, as well as customers, suppliers, and partners worldwide.

Main responsibilities:
- Develop relationships and business with existing customers and suppliers.
- Manage shipments and projects from inquiry all the way to invoicing.
- Be responsible for customer contact and follow-up via phone and visits.
- Respond to supplier and customer inquiries.
- Contribute to the team's development and improvement of work methods, routines, and processes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
We are looking for someone who:
- Has several years experience in project logistics and special transports, with focus on air export and military and defense segment. 
- Experience with other modes of transport is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the CW1 production system.
- Is fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

This role is suited for someone who is solution-oriented and independently drives their work forward. You have the ability to plan and organize projects and special transports from start to finish, act proactively, and maintain a high level of structure. As a freight forwarder, you are responsible for your own customer assignments from booking to final invoicing, with a focus on road transports. You have regular contact and close cooperation with account managers, suppliers, and customers.

Your responsibilities include:
- Pricing of road transports

- Issuing transport documents
- Delivery monitoring and deviation reporting
- Invoicing and cost control

We are looking for a candidate who is eager to further develop within the field of freight forwarding and contribute to delivering first-class service and innovative solutions to our customers. 

Ideally, you have a post-secondary education in logistics and at least 3–5 years of experience in road freight forwarding. Experience working with various customer segments, particularly in pricing, is considered an advantage. As both Swedish and English are used daily in this role, you must be fluent in speaking and writing both languages. Proficiency in the CW1 production system and Office365 is highly desirable.

This position is well-suited to someone who is flexible, demonstrates strong collaboration skills, and possesses a commercial mindset. You are solution-oriented, customer-focused, and service-driven. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for the following activities, in compliance with regional and company guidelines:

The scope of the tests covers operations managed by Customer's service providers (LLPs, LSPs etc.), who will provide supporting documentation and evidence to support the testing process. The tests are named:

•	Imports
•	Exports
•	Classification 
•	Post Entry Adjustments (PEA) Analysis


The compliance testing includes also the following activities:

•	Obtain universe and supporting documentation from operation team
•	Perform compliance tests according to test requirement
•	Report operational process defects to the responsible LSP/Vendors for root cause analysis and follow up remediation with operation team.
•	Report compliance testing results to Customer on a periodic basis
•	Act as a responsible party for test results communication and error remediation with Geodis operation and client control tower.
•	Provide Customer all data and/or documentation required to support the monthly validation of compliance testing.
•	Support Customer in taking action to eliminate the root cause of all incorrect test results identified during validation by Customer (incorrect test result = Geodis failed to identify a defect which was subsequently identified during validation by Customer).
•	Support periodic Customer internal and Government audits and reviews as mutually agreed with Customer, relating only to activities performed by the Geodis in OMS Trade Compliance Support.
•	Provide analytic reports for test related per request of internal customer and external customer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
DESIRED MINIMUM PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Education: 
•	University or College Degree
•	Logistics/Supply chain/International Trade background preferred
•	Ocean Freight Experience is an added advantage

Language: 
•	English Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking
Essential Skills and abilities:
