To build and maintain a global relationship with nominated customers, locally, regionally and globally.

The emphasis is placed on growth and profitability in accordance with the policies and guidelines laid out in the Account Management process and as decided by the Sales and Account Senior Management team of GEODIS FF UK. 
Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the Account Manager to ensure that the relationship is deepening both in complexity, e.g. through increased EDI connectivity etc., and business volume whenever possible.
To co-ordinate and harmonize activities between the customer teams globally, including but not limited to operational processes, IT tools, statistical &amp; financial reporting and high-level customer service excellence.

Key Activities / Accountabilities 

An Account Manager will manage and develop the existing business and relationship, including incremental business opportunities within nominated accounts. 

•	Responsible for effective working practices with the customer.
•	Oversee and manage SLA (Service Level Agreements) between client and GEODIS Freight Forwarding. 
•	Responsible for Monthly KPI reports 
•	Execution of strategic plans to develop and maintain long-term partnership with the customer and their nominated stakeholders.
